Dave McGillivray appointed Senior Advisor of Finish Line USA
(Charleston, SC) - Advantage Networks proudly announced today that Boston Marathon Race Director, Dave McGillivray has been appointed Senior Advisor of Finish Line USA, a mobile marketing tour. Advantage Networks and McGillivray have joined forces to take Finish Line USA in a trek across the nation.
Finish Line USA is a mobile runner’s village designed to educate, entertain, and inspire distance runners through interactive exhibits. The tour will visit 55 marathons and long distance road races throughout America in 2005, 2006, and 2007. During these three years, Finish Line USA will reach a captive audience of nearly 2 million runners and expo participants.
More than just a resource for runners, Finish Line USA is a grass roots mobile marketing endeavor designed to connect tour partners with distance runners, a large and growing market. The Finish Line USA experience will additionally include product sampling stations, runner photos, and a mobile Distance Running Hall of Fame.

McGillivray has transformed his athletic achievements into vocational success. As Director of the Boston Marathon, McGillivray has received the prestigious Race Director of the Year Award.
