The National Distance Running Hall of Fame joins Finish Line USA for three year tour across the country
(Charleston, SC/ Utica, NY) - Advantage Networks is proud to announce a partnership with the National Distance Running Hall of Fame (NDRHF). Advantage Networks and the NDRHF have teamed together to bring Finish Line USA and a mobile Hall of Fame to runners across the nation.
Finish Line USA is a mobile runner’s village designed to educate, entertain, and inspire distance runners through interactive exhibits. The tour will visit 55 marathons and long distance road races throughout America in 2005, 2006, and 2007. During these three years, Finish Line USA will reach a captive audience of nearly 2 million runners and expo participants. Through the partnership with Finish Line USA, the NDRHF will join this multi-year tour on its trek across the USA.
More than just a resource for runners, Finish Line USA is a grass roots mobile marketing endeavor designed to connect tour partners with distance runners, a large and growing market. The National Distance Running Hall of Fame will unite with millions of runners through a mobile Hall of Fame. They have looked to Finish Line USA as ground breaking and historic mobile marketing effort to reach their core audience.

Established in 1998, the National Distance Running Hall of Fame honors the sport of distance running and the athletes that have contributed to the sport. The mobile Hall of Fame paired with Finish Line USA will highlight the sport of distance running’s finest and most memorable moments. The mobile Hall of Fame will be housed in a double-expandable 53 foot tractor trailer and will include keepsakes and memorabilia as well as feature interactive exhibits, trivia and games.
The National Distance Running Hall of Fame (www.distancerunning.com) was established to honor the athletes who have lent their names and achievements to defining the sport of distance running. The hall is dedicated to honoring distance running and the athletes who made contributions to the sport, from top runners and the decorated athletes, to those who pushed the sports barriers and eventually broke them. The National Distance Running Hall of Fame is located in Utica, New York, along the “Hall of Fame Corridor.”
